The trade event offered live demonstrations, master‑classes, product testing and panels that highlighted the growing spending power of Black consumers and the push for greater diversity within the beauty sector.

Founded to provide education and hiring support for under‑represented talent, Black Beauty Roster emphasized its mission to create an inclusive destination where professionals, brands and creators can connect and discover new opportunities. The show, which sold out and was open to the public, featured a hair‑battle competition judged by stylist Susy Oludele and attracted attendees including Anok Ya, Bevy Smith and Jeanette Ryes. Founder Maude Okrah Hunter said the event “is where business, artistry, and culture intersect,” aiming to shape a more innovative and inclusive industry.
