Black Cat Syndicate allocates $35m for gold exploration

Black Cat Syndicate has announced an exploration and resource conversion drilling plan of up to $35 million for the 2027 financial year. The initiative aims to expand resources and extend mine lives at its Paulsens and Kal East gold operations in Western Australia.

The company has identified approximately 814,000 ounces of inferred resources across both sites. At Paulsens, the company has allocated between $13 million and $15 million for near-mine and regional exploration, which includes utilizing a dedicated underground exploration rig and surface diamond drilling.

Managing Director Chris Stone stated that the company is well-positioned for growth as both operations ramp up to capacity in FY27. The drilling program will focus on converting priority inferred resources to indicated resources to support life-of-mine planning.
