Black Clover anime returns with new season scheduled for 2026

Studio Pierrot has confirmed a new season of the anime 'Black Clover', based on the manga by Yūki Tabata. The upcoming production is expected to adapt the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, covering the confrontation with the Dark Triad.

The new season is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 and will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll. Reports indicate the season will move away from a continuous weekly format, instead utilizing a two-part or 'cours' structure. While specific episode counts vary in reports, estimates suggest approximately 24 to 26 episodes in total.

The first episode, titled 'War Begins', will follow the Clover Kingdom Magic Knights as they prepare to rescue Yami and others from the Dark Triad, while Asta and Liebe train to master the 'Devil Union'. A special sneak peek of the first episode was previously screened in select cinemas in the United States and Canada through Crunchyroll Anime Nights.
