Black Clover Season 2 set to premiere October 2026

The anime series Black Clover is scheduled to return for a second season on October 3, 2026, following a five-year hiatus. Produced by Studio Pierrot, the new season will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Staff member Isuta Meister has indicated that the production aims to go beyond a direct adaptation of Yuki Tabata’s manga by including expanded battle sequences and original material. This approach is intended to enhance the narrative and visual energy of the series. The upcoming season will adapt the Spade Kingdom Raid arc, picking up from the cliffhanger of the first season where characters prepare to face the Dark Triad.

Direction for the new season includes Ayataka Tanemura, who previously directed the Black Clover film. The first episode, titled ‘The War Begins,’ will focus on Asta and Liebe mastering ‘Devil Union’ while other characters undergo training to defend the Clover Kingdom.
