Black Clover returns with Season 2 premiere

Black Clover anime Studio Pierrot Season 2 shonen

The anime series Black Clover has returned for its second season, with the premiere episode, titled ‘The Battle Begins’, airing on October 3, 2026. Produced by Studio Pierrot, the new season picks up from the unresolved conflict involving the Clover Kingdom and the Dark Triad of the Spade Kingdom.

Episode 1 highlights include the training of Asta and Liebe as they attempt to master the Devil Union. The episode features a distinctive monochrome visual style during Nacht Faust’s ‘Mana Zone: Dark Prison Hunting Ground’ technique, where color is reserved only for specific details like eyes and blood.

The narrative focuses on the Clover Kingdom’s preparations to rescue captured leaders Yami Sukehiro and William Vangeance, setting the stage for a larger confrontation with the Spade Kingdom.
