Black Cultural Travel Experiences Spotlighted for Summer

A curated list of ten Black cultural travel experiences has been published, recommending destinations that celebrate Black history, creativity and community. Highlights include the One Voyage cruise created by Black America Web, the newly opened Obama Presidential Center in Chicago, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C., a weekend in Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, a visit to Sag Harbor – often called the Black Hamptons, a road‑trip combining Atlanta and Montgomery to see sites such as Ebenezer Baptist Church and the National Memorial for Peace and Justice, and a walk through Tulsa’s Greenwood District (the historic Black Wall Street). The guide encourages travelers to build summer itineraries around these sites to honor Black excellence and resilience.
