Black Flame Cartel Hot‑Dog Cart Marks One‑Year Anniversary with Community Benefit Event

Entrepreneur Nikki Basham, who previously promoted her family’s Frogtown Foods, opened the gourmet hot‑dog cart Black Flame Cartel. After a year of serving unique glizzys at the Owensboro Regional Farmer’s Market, Rural King and other venues, the business is celebrating its first birthday.

The anniversary party will be held Saturday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Lot, 900 East 4th Street, and will benefit the nonprofit Friends of Sinners. Attendees can try a special anniversary hot dog, receive giveaways, free food, discounts and photo opportunities. Basham emphasizes that the cart aims to build a community beyond just serving food.
