Black Lagoon celebrates 25th anniversary with pop-up shops and art exhibition

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the manga series ‘Black Lagoon’, two major commemorative events have been announced for 2026 in Japan.

Cospa Group will host a pop-up shop titled ‘BLACK LAGOON 25th ANNIVERSARY ～The Three Scariest Women on Earth～’. Starting September 12, 2026, in Akihabara, the tour will move to Osaka, Nagoya, Kokura, and Sendai. The shop will feature merchandise using new illustrations by creator Rei Hiroe, focusing on characters Revy, Roberta, and Balalaika. Items include T-shirts, acrylic stands, and tote bags, with special purchase bonuses available at participating locations.

Additionally, a ‘Black Lagoon 25th Anniversary Original Art Exhibition’ is scheduled to take place from November 13 to December 6, 2026, at the Sunshine 60 Observatory Tenbou Park in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The exhibition will display rare manga manuscripts, color illustration reproductions, and comic book covers, alongside firearm props used in the series.
