Black Pantera announces new album ‘Continental’ with guest artists

The Brazilian rock band Black Pantera has announced details for their fifth studio album, titled ‘Continental’, scheduled for release on August 21 via Deck. The project aims to celebrate Brazilian musical diversity and African roots by blending rock, rap, and soul.

The album features collaborations with artists from different generations and genres. Rapper Duquesa performs on the track ‘Serotonina’, while Brazilian soul icon Sandra Sá contributes to ‘Quando Canto’. Additionally, Derrick Green, the vocalist of the metal band Sepultura, appears on the song ‘Obsoleto’, highlighting the band’s connection to international metal and themes of identity and resistance.

According to bassist and vocalist Chaene da Gama, the album seeks to represent the various facets of Brazil through music. The band recorded 17 songs during a 15-day studio session in January to prepare for this release.
