Black Rock Coffee Bar opens new stores in Arizona and Colorado

Black Rock Coffee Bar, the Oregon‑born boutique coffee chain, opened a new location at 1765 E University Dr in Tempe, Arizona on August 7, 2026. The grand opening featured $3 medium drinks, a sticker giveaway and promotions through the Black Rock Rewards app. With the Tempe store, the brand’s Arizona footprint reaches 60 stores. CEO Mark Davis said each new store is an opportunity to join a new community.

On the same day the chain celebrated the opening of its 200th store at 9111 E 40th Ave in Denver, Colorado. The Denver launch includes six days of deals, a free‑drink day, discounted signature drinks and a community‑day donation of $2 per Caramel Blondie sold to Sox Place Denver. The expansion supports Black Rock’s goal of 1,000 U.S. locations by 2035 and marks continued growth across seven states.
