Black Sabbath's 1970 Beat-Club 'N.I.B.' performance uploaded to YouTube

An official YouTube channel for the German music TV show Beat‑Club has posted previously unreleased footage of the English heavy‑metal band Black Sabbath performing the song “N.I.B.” during the show’s 1970 episode. The performance was recorded in Bremen, West Germany, when Beat‑Club aired its 83‑episode run (1965‑1972). The band appeared twice on the program in 1970 – once in June, where they unintentionally played a cover while cameras were being set up, and again in September performing tracks from their second album *Paranoid*. The newly released clip shows the June rendition of “N.I.B.” which had not been broadcast at the time, reportedly because vocalist Ozzy Osbourne sang an incorrect lyric.

Beat‑Club was syndicated to more than 30 countries but not to the United Kingdom or the United States, making this footage the first official public view of the early‑era performance. The release adds visual documentation of a song that helped define heavy‑metal’s sound and provides fans with historic insight into the band’s stage presence during their breakthrough year.
