Black Sea weather warning issued for Bulgaria

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has issued a yellow code warning for sea swell along the Black Sea coast. The warning highlights that a combination of strong winds, tides, and rough sea conditions could lead to local flooding in coastal areas.

Forecasts indicate variable cloudiness along the coast with sea swell reaching 3-4 Beaufort. Moderate to temporarily strong winds from the east-northeast are expected, particularly along the southern coast, where light rain is also possible. Air temperatures are expected to reach between 25°C and 26°C, with sea water temperatures also around 25°C-26°C.

Inland, temperatures are expected to reach up to 32°C in southwestern parts of the country, while Sofia is expected to see around 27°C. Mountainous regions will remain mostly sunny with some afternoon cloudiness and no significant precipitation expected.
