Black Sherif named Telecel Cash brand ambassador

Telecel Ghana has officially named award-winning musician Black Sherif as the brand ambassador for Telecel Cash. The partnership was announced during the unveiling of ‘Project X’ at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

Under the Project X initiative, customers can access exclusive digital financial services and experiences. Black Sherif will share a ‘Blacko Code’ during his online engagements, which users can apply via the Telecel Cash App to access free transactions and various gifts. Additionally, customers can expect exclusive discounts and surprises through the Telecel Play App.

Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO of Telecel Ghana, stated that the partnership combines a vibrant brand focused on secure mobile financial services with an inspiring Ghanaian artist. The launch event was attended by various industry leaders, regulators, and government representatives, including the Deputy Minister of Communications, Innovations and Digital Transformation.
