Black Sherif reflects on the fleeting nature of Artiste of the Year glory

Ghanaian rapper Black Sherif has reflected on his achievement of winning the Artiste of the Year award for a second time, noting that the initial excitement of such accolades is short-lived.

He stated that while the recognition is fulfilling, the euphoria typically peaks on the night of the ceremony before returning to his normal routine and work the following day. Black Sherif emphasized that winning the award was not his ultimate goal, stating, “I was working towards something beyond that.” For the ‘Kwaku the Traveller’ hitmaker, the awards serve as career milestones rather than final destinations, as his primary focus remains on his music and future projects.
