Black Stone Cherry Announces Plans for Second EP Recording

Kentucky rock band Black Stone Cherry released the seven‑track EP "Celebrate" digitally in March 2026 through Mascot Records. The EP includes the singles “Neon Eyes” and “Celebrate”, a cover of Simple Minds’ “Don’t You (Forget About Me]” featuring Theory of a Deadman’s Tyler Connolly, and the charity‑linked track “Deep”, which was later issued in an acoustic version.

In a recent interview with Crews of Q92.9 FM, vocalist‑guitarist Chris Robertson explained, “more than anything, it was just the way we all as humans in society now consume the arts… we’re trying something different.” Guitarist Ben Wells added that the band’s strategy is to split a full album into two EPs, saying, “the goal from the get‑go was to do a full album, but divide it in half.” The group plans to begin recording a second EP within a week, aiming to release new music more frequently and keep touring without long gaps. Recording for the first EP took place at High Street Studios in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
