Black Thought stars in Mike’s Hot Honey short film

Black Thought, a member of the musical group The Roots, is starring in a new short film titled ‘The Drizzler’ for Mike’s Hot Honey. The film follows an aspiring apprentice learning the craft of drizzling the chili-infused honey over pizza at a Brooklyn pizzeria.

The project was produced by Two One Five, a production company founded by Black Thought and Questlove. The film features a custom score by James Poyser of The Roots and was directed by Anthony Jamari Thomas. Mike’s Hot Honey originated in 2010 when founder Mike Kurtz began selling the product at Paulie Gee’s in Brooklyn.
