Blackburn Rovers defeat Bristol City 1-0

Blackburn Rovers secured a 1-0 victory against Bristol City at Ashton Gate in a Championship match. Oladapo Afolayan scored the decisive goal in the first half with a long-range strike from just outside the penalty area.

Despite the loss, Bristol City created numerous scoring opportunities, but were denied by standout performances from Blackburn goalkeeper Balázs Tóth. The Hungarian international made several critical saves, including stops against Dom Ballard and George Tanner, to maintain the clean sheet.

Blackburn manager Tony Mowbray credited the win to the team's cohesion and Tóth's exceptional form. Bristol City manager Michael Skubala also praised the goalkeeper, noting that while his team created many chances, Tóth's performance kept the opposition in the game.
