Blackdegree to showcase Eswatini streetwear at Fancy Africa in Mozambique

Manzini-based streetwear brand Blackdegree is set to represent Eswatini at the 10th-anniversary edition of Fancy Africa in Maputo, Mozambique, from September 28 to October 3. Led by co-founder and head designer Kwenzie Zwane, the brand's participation is part of a partnership programme between the Luju Festival and Fancy Africa designed to foster collaboration among African creatives.

This showcase marks a significant step in Blackdegree's regional expansion. The brand has previously gained exposure through the Luju Fashion Runway and has entered the South African retail market via Africarise, a platform founded by Thula Sindi. Blackdegree's design philosophy focuses on contemporary streetwear infused with African influences, utilizing bold prints and distinctive textiles to connect modern street culture with African identity and storytelling.
