Blackmill Games releases WW1 Gallipoli tactical shooter
Blackmill Games has released WW1 Gallipoli, the fourth installment in its tactical World War I series following Verdun, Tannenberg, and Isonzo. This title shifts the setting to the Middle Eastern front, depicting the conflict between the British and Ottoman Empires.
The game maintains the series' focus on historical accuracy, featuring realistic weaponry, accurate uniforms, and detailed environments. It utilizes a 25v25 multiplayer format in the “Expedition” mode, where players act as either attackers or defenders. Attackers must capture headquarters by destroying infrastructure or planting bombs, while defenders work to prevent these objectives.
Gameplay includes various specialized classes such as Snipers, Officers, and Bombers, each with distinct roles and limitations. Reviews highlight the game's improved graphics and its ability to convey the harrowing nature of the historical campaign through atmospheric details and intense combat mechanics.
