BLACKPINK members Rosé and Jisoo address anniversary controversy and schedules

Following BLACKPINK’s 10th anniversary, members Jisoo and Rosé have addressed fan concerns and individual schedules. Rosé issued a formal apology via her official channel regarding the group's anniversary event held on August 8 at the National Museum of Korea. The event drew criticism because it was limited to only 40 attendees and was announced with very little notice, leaving the majority of the fanbase unable to participate. Rosé expressed regret that the celebration did not meet expectations and apologized for the delay in her response, stating, “I am sorry that things did not go as we expected.”

Meanwhile, Jisoo has returned to her individual schedule, traveling to Shanghai to attend an event for the sportswear brand Salomon. To mitigate the impact of the hot weather on fans waiting in line, Jisoo and her team provided practical items including cooling patches, fans, umbrellas, gloves, and refreshments. This gesture was noted as a way to support fans who had gathered early to see her despite the intense heat.
