BlackRock adds associate roles in portfolio accounting and ETF product strategy

BlackRock Investment Management announced two associate positions. In Philadelphia, an Associate will monitor and reconcile separately managed accounts, liaise with custodians, automate processes, and support monthly closing activities. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in economics, business or finance and at least three years of experience in investment management, portfolio accounting, and programming in Python, Unix and SQL. Salary is listed between $105,000 and $127,500 plus bonus and benefits.

In New York, a second Associate, Product Strategist, will serve as a subject‑matter expert on thematic and active exchange‑traded funds (ETFs) and digital‑asset ETPs covering areas such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, clean energy, lithium, Bitcoin and Ethereum. Responsibilities include client education, data analytics, market‑quality analysis, and collaboration on product development. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, economics or finance and have two years of experience with thematic ETFs, active ETFs, and quantitative analysis using Python, SQL and Tableau.
