BlackRock adds compliance and quantitative modeling positions in China

BlackRock China Fund Management Corporation in Shanghai is hiring an Analyst‑Compliance Officer to oversee investment compliance, monitor trading practices, develop policies, support regulatory reporting and provide advisory to business units. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, 3‑5 years of relevant experience and knowledge of investment regulations; CFA/FRM or Fund Practitioner qualifications are a plus.

The firm’s Quantitative Modeling and Research team also seeks a C++ Engineer/Quantitative Modeler Associate. The role involves building and enhancing risk and valuation models for interest‑rate, FX, inflation, equity and credit products, using C++23, neural‑network techniques, GPU programming and AI engineering. Applicants need at least three years of C++ development experience, a degree in software development, strong analytical and communication skills, and may benefit from Python, AI or micro‑services experience.

Both positions offer BlackRock’s hybrid work model (four days in office, one day remote), flexible time‑off, retirement plans, health benefits and other employee support programs.
