BlackRock hires senior leaders for FX trading and US ETF platform

BlackRock is recruiting a Vice President of Foreign Exchange (FX) Trading for its New York office. The role will involve executing FX trades across spot, forwards, options and swaps, providing market intelligence to portfolio managers, and developing technology to improve workflow. Candidates must have at least five years of FX market experience and strong quantitative skills. BlackRock is also seeking a Director to lead its US ETF Platform. The senior leader will define the long‑term vision for the platform, oversee its re‑architecture, drive innovation in ETF structures, and manage a team of roughly ten professionals. The role requires more than ten years of experience in ETFs, investment management or market structure, strong stakeholder‑management abilities and a focus on risk governance. The appointment will support BlackRock’s strategy to expand its ETF offering and strengthen ecosystem connectivity.
