Blackstone Inc. sees significant new institutional investment

Multiple institutional investors have recently established or increased positions in Blackstone Inc. according to various SEC filings.

Alberta Investment Management Corp purchased 54,100 shares valued at approximately $6.37 million during the second quarter. Other significant institutional moves include Norges Bank acquiring a stake worth roughly $1.28 billion and Bank of New York Mellon Corp acquiring a position valued at approximately $514.7 million. Additionally, Renaissance Technologies LLC entered a new position worth about $164.6 million.

Other firms, including Focused Wealth Management Inc and SFE Investment Counsel, also reported new holdings in the asset manager during the second quarter. Institutional investors currently own approximately 70% of Blackstone's stock.
