In an interview, Crouch stated that he lacks extraordinary respect for the approach used in many superhero films, where the multiverse often serves as a plot device to facilitate nostalgia or bring together various characters from different franchises.

Crouch noted that his work aims to be the antithesis of this trend, using the concept of multiple realities to explore character depth and human capability rather than as a tool for action-oriented spectacle.

Meanwhile, the second season of ‘Dark Matter’ is approaching its conclusion. Recent developments in the series involve characters Jason and Daniela navigating different worlds and utilizing a device known as ‘the box’ to move between realities, following a sequence where they successfully tricked an agent to escape.
