Blake Gendebien rejects Democratic Socialists in NY-21 race

Democratic Congressional candidate Blake Gendebien has distanced himself from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), describing some of the rhetoric from that political wing as “absolutely nuts.”

Running for New York's 21st Congressional District against Republican Anthony Constantino, Gendebien has positioned himself as a moderate candidate. His platform includes securing the border, deporting violent criminals, and protecting local installations such as Fort Drum and Griffiss. He emphasized his identity as a North Country dairy farmer and small business owner, noting that he is unfamiliar with the political movements occurring in New York City.
