Wallace, whose firm Street Relations was named in Lively’s 2024 administrative complaint, wants the deposition to determine whether Lively knowingly made false statements, acted with reckless disregard of the truth, or believed her claims in good faith.

Lively is pursuing roughly $800,000 in attorney fees she says Wallace owes after his defamation suit was dismissed on personal‑jurisdiction grounds. A Texas court had scheduled Lively for a deposition on August 4, but she did not appear, and her lawyers described the notice as “null and void.” The dispute stems from a broader legal battle over the film “It Ends With Us” and related claims of a coordinated social‑media campaign against Lively.

Both parties continue to exchange legal motions as the case proceeds, with Wallace arguing the deposition is necessary before any fee award is made, while Lively’s counsel calls the request meritless.
