Blandine L’Hirondel wins UTMB 2026

Blandine L’Hirondel won the 2026 UTMB, completing the 174-kilometer course around Mont-Blanc in 21 hours, 54 minutes, and 49 seconds.

During the race, L’Hirondel wore the Kiprun Kipsummit Race, a high-performance trail shoe developed by Decathlon. The footwear features a carbon fiber plate and A-TPU foam designed to provide energy return and dynamism over long distances. The victory serves as a significant real-world test for the technical architecture of the shoe, which includes a high sole height to maintain responsiveness throughout extreme mountain terrain.
