Blanka Vlašić promotes athletics at Solin elementary school

Olympic high jumper Blanka Vlašić visited the Vjekoslav Parać Elementary School in Solin as part of the ‘Atletski đir’ (Athletic Tour) project. Organized by the Split Athletic Club with support from the Ministry of Tourism and Sport, the initiative aims to promote athletics, physical activity, healthy nutrition, and psychological well-being among students.

During the meeting, Vlašić spoke to students about effort, self-confidence, and handling defeat, emphasizing that sports should be accessible to every child regardless of talent. School principal Đuro Baloević noted the importance of such programs in combating sedentary lifestyles and excessive screen time among students.
