Blanka Vlašić speaks at Herzegovina Travel Fest in Ljubuški

Former Croatian high jumper Blanka Vlašić spoke at the opening of the 5th Herzegovina Travel Fest in Ljubuški. The two-day event, organized by the Tourist Board of the City of Ljubuški, brings together travelers, adventurers, and figures from the worlds of sport and tourism.

Vlašić presented a talk titled ‘Journey through the Prism of Elite Sport’. She noted that while professional athletes travel extensively, they often do so for short competitions without the opportunity to explore as tourists. She shared that travel has enriched her life through meeting different people and experiencing diverse cultures and cuisines.

The festival's themes this year included volunteering in Africa, family adventures, and travel through elite sports. The event opened with a children's exhibition at the Ljubuški Cultural Center.
