Blankenhain property vandalism and theft causes €3,000 damage
Unknown perpetrators entered a property on Marktstraße in Blankenhain, Thuringia, between 19 July and 21 July 2026. They broke a garden gate to gain access, stole two paint‑spray cans and one resin‑spray can worth about €50 from an unlocked car, and then sprayed graffiti on the garden door, a vehicle’s cover and the car’s motor‑hood. A scooter and two tyres on the premises were also stained with paint and resin.
Police have opened investigations for theft and property damage, estimating the total loss at roughly €3,000. Officers are urging anyone who noticed suspicious people or vehicles in the area during the specified time frame to come forward with information.
