Blanzy to host second Oktoberfest to promote Franco-German friendship

The Blanzy–Hettenleidelheim Twinning Committee is organizing its second Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the EVA hall in Blanzy. Following a successful inaugural event in 2025 that drew 350 participants, this festive gathering aims to strengthen Franco-German friendship and foster intergenerational exchanges.

Organized alongside German twinning partners, the event is designed to bring together families and locals to celebrate German traditions. The committee intends to use the occasion to encourage community participation and revitalize the association. The project is supported by the Franco-German Citizen Fund, an initiative implemented by the Franco-German Youth Office (OFAJ) to promote European construction and bilateral ties.
