Blažo Jabučanin selected to referee at 2026 Asian Games

Montenegrin international boxing referee Blažo Jabučanin has been invited to officiate at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi–Nagoya, Japan. The invitation was extended by the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) and World Boxing.

The games, scheduled to take place from September 19 to October 4, 2026, will feature approximately 17,000 athletes and officials across 43 sports. Jabučanin, who has extensive experience in European competitions, will represent Montenegro on this major international stage, officiating bouts involving top boxing nations such as Kazakhstan, India, and China.

Jabučanin expressed that the selection is both a great honor and a significant responsibility, noting his commitment to representing his country professionally through his work in the ring.
