Blast Resources appoints Andy Yackulic to Board of Directors
Blast Resources Inc. has appointed Andy Yackulic to its Board of Directors as an independent director, effective immediately. Yackulic brings over twenty years of experience in uranium exploration and resource development, specifically within Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.
Yackulic most recently served as Vice President of Exploration at Denison Mines Corp., where he managed a large uranium exploration portfolio. He also spent approximately twelve years at Cameco Corporation.
The appointment comes as Blast Resources focuses on its flagship Wales Lake project in northern Saskatchewan. The project is situated less than 30 km from the Arrow and Triple R uranium deposits. Yackulic noted that the company is well-positioned to benefit from tightening global uranium supplies and international commitments to increase nuclear energy capacity by 2050.
