BLASTCAST! podcast festival to take place in Warsaw

The BLASTCAST! podcast festival, the largest event of its kind in Poland, is scheduled to take place on October 9 and 10 at the Norblin Factory in Warsaw. The festival aims to bring the digital audio community into an offline setting, celebrating both creators and listeners.

Among the featured guests is Kama Wojtkiewicz, creator of the podcast ‘Sznurowadła myśli’. Wojtkiewicz, a graduate in law and clinical psychology, explores themes at the intersection of psychology, culture, and psychotherapy. Her work often examines the complexities of self-development and the modern culture of therapy.

The event also highlights evolving trends in the medium, such as the popularity of podcast duos. Industry observations suggest that multi-host formats foster parasocial relationships and a sense of community by offering diverse perspectives and spontaneous, natural conversation styles.
