Blatnica bear attack injures elderly woman

A brown bear attacked a 79-year-old woman in the village of Blatnica, Martin district, on a Tuesday. The incident occurred as the bear was crossing a local stream and moving through the village square. The victim received medical treatment at a hospital in Martin. Video footage captured the bear running through the square, causing residents to flee.

Research from the University of Košice suggests that some bears may have dental issues affecting their diet.
