Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War final episodes delayed to October 2026

The production committee for the anime ‘Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity’ has announced a delay for the final two episodes of the series. Originally expected in September 2026, episodes 49 and 50 are now scheduled to premiere on October 19 and October 26, 2026, respectively.

Studio Pierrot stated that the postponement is intended to improve production quality as the adaptation approaches its climax. To fill the hiatus, TV Tokyo will broadcast a ‘Climax Selection’ featuring re-broadcasts of key previous episodes, including episodes 7, 28, 46, and 48, on specific dates throughout September and October.

The final episodes will be available on various global streaming platforms, including Disney+ and Hulu, following the Japanese broadcast schedule. The series, based on the manga by Tite Kubo, is entering its definitive conclusion, covering the final battle between the Shinigami and the Quincies.
