Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War finale delayed to October

The production committee for the anime series ‘Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’ has announced a delay for the final two episodes of the fourth part, titled ‘The Calamity’. To ensure higher animation quality for the series climax, the broadcast of episode 49 and episode 50 has been rescheduled to October 2026.

In Japan, episode 49 is now set to air on TV Tokyo on October 19, 2026, followed by the series finale, episode 50, on October 26, 2026. Streaming availability on platforms like Disney+ will follow shortly after the Japanese broadcasts.

During the one-month hiatus, TV Tokyo will air a ‘Climax Selection’ special on September 19, September 26, October 5, and October 12, featuring key moments from the series to prepare viewers for the final confrontation between Ichigo Kurosaki and Yhwach.
