Bled Strategic Forum to cause traffic disruptions in Slovenia

The 21st Bled Strategic Forum, scheduled for August 31 and September 1, will result in intermittent traffic disruptions on roads leading to and from Bled, Slovenia. Due to the presence of numerous high-level foreign officials and protected delegations, the Slovenian police have issued warnings regarding potential short-term road closures.

While a full-scale special traffic regime is not expected, police will implement mobile closures to facilitate the passage of official convoys. Drivers are instructed to yield to police escorts using red and blue lights. On standard roads, motorists should pull off the roadway, while those on highways should move to the far right edge of the right lane.

It is strictly prohibited to overtake or join official convoys. In the event of traffic congestion on highways, drivers must establish an emergency corridor to allow both regular traffic and official escorts to pass.
