Bled to host Reuse Festival this Sunday

The Reuse Festival returns to Bled Health Park this Sunday, running from 10:00 to 18:00. Organized by the Municipality of Bled, Infrastruktura Bled, and the association Ekologi brez meja, the event aims to demonstrate that sustainability does not require significant lifestyle sacrifices.

Activities include a vintage market featuring various fashion brands and an upcycling market showcasing creative uses for discarded textiles. Visitors can participate in a clothing exchange, attend workshops to refresh old garments with printing and illustrations, or learn professional shoe cleaning and maintenance techniques.

Additional features include a second-hand flea market, linocut printing on used t-shirts, and local food offerings. The event also includes charitable components, such as donating blankets to support the Hrtji svet Slovenije organization, which assists abandoned and abused dogs.
