Blenners Transport celebrates arrival of 400th Kenworth truck

Blenners Transport, a specialist refrigerated transport company, has reached a significant milestone with the arrival of its 400th Kenworth prime mover. The T909 model was delivered by the Brown and Hurley Group in Townsville on September 21.

Founded in 1988 by Les and Judy Blennerhassett, the business began by transporting bananas in North Queensland. Over nearly four decades, it has expanded into a national logistics partner for the food and produce industry. The company is now operated by the founders alongside their sons, Roger and Ben.

Blenners Transport is only the third family-owned company in Australia to reach the 400-vehicle milestone with Kenworth. The company operates a 16,000m2 facility in Cairns, which includes freezer, chiller, and dry storage capacities.
