Bülent Turan visits Çanakkale to announce infrastructure projects

Turkish Deputy Interior Minister Bülent Turan visited Çanakkale to attend several openings, including a dietitian center and a dental health clinic. During his visit to the Biga district, Turan announced that infrastructure tenders for the second phase of the Biga Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) have been issued. He noted that efforts are underway to bring natural gas to the region, with a target completion date of 2028, which would benefit the OSB, the local university, and eight surrounding villages.

Turan also highlighted the ‘Campus Village’ project, a collaboration between the Ministry of Interior, a university, and the Çanakkale Mukhtars Association. Additionally, he called for the construction of a Circassian exile monument in Biga to honor the region's history.

Addressing social concerns, Turan issued a call to families to closely monitor their children's daily activities and social interactions to mitigate risks of violence, following a recent incident involving injured students in Manisa.
