Blessing CEO loses son while in Nigerian custody

Blessing Okoro, a Nigerian social media personality known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while in custody at the Kirikiri Correctional Facility in Lagos. The news was initially shared by Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, who appealed to the public for donations to help Okoro meet bail requirements and settle debts.

However, Okoro has denied authorizing any fundraising efforts. In a recorded conversation with actress Doris Ogala, Okoro stated she did not give consent to anyone to solicit funds on her behalf and expressed that she should be the one to break the news regarding her son’s passing. This contradicts Agiye’s claims that Okoro had personally requested assistance to raise ₦20 million for bail and ₦36 million for outstanding debts.

Okoro is currently remanded in prison following an alleged property fraud trial. The death of her son has also drawn controversial reactions from Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing, who publicly criticized Okoro, suggesting the situation was a consequence of her alleged past actions.
