Bălți to test digital platform for public transport monitoring

The municipality of Bălți will test a new digital platform designed to monitor public transportation. The system will utilize GPS data from buses and trolleybuses to provide real-time arrival estimates for passengers.

Additionally, the platform aims to assist local authorities in more efficiently planning transit routes and schedules. This project is being implemented as part of the European RAPTOR 2026 program, which is managed by EIT Urban Mobility.
