Bliha Waterfall water flow resumes after three-day stoppage

Water has resumed flowing over the Bliha Waterfall near Sanski Most following a complete three-day stoppage. This interruption marks the longest period of dry flow recorded since issues with the waterfall began in early August.

Local authorities and federal institutions are investigating the cause of the intermittent water loss. Mensur Seferović, the Mayor of Sanski Most, stated that the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism and the Agency for the Water Area of the Sava River have been notified. Water and mining inspectors have also conducted field visits to examine the site.

While a prolonged dry period is being considered as a potential factor, officials are also investigating whether excavation activities in a nearby mine are linked to the changes in water flow. No official cause for the disappearance of the water has been confirmed yet.
