Blik partners with PPRO to enable AI agent payments

Blik, operated by Polski Standard Płatności, has entered a new partnership with the European e-commerce payment provider PPRO. The collaboration aims to develop solutions that allow Blik to be used as a payment method for AI agents.

This move targets the evolving ecosystem of agentic commerce. While specific technical details of the solution have not yet been disclosed, the partnership follows previous indications from Blik regarding its interest in exploring AI applications within the payment industry. This includes existing capabilities for using Blik for recurring payments to service providers like ChatGPT Plus.
