Blind Channel Announces New Album 'Painstream' and Japan Tour Dates
Finnish modern‑metal band Blind Channel has ended an 18‑month hiatus with the announcement of their sixth studio album, Painstream, scheduled for release on 30 October 2026 through Century Media Records. The album’s first double single, “Diana” and “No Encores in a Swan Song,” was unveiled with a short film and features a guest appearance by Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men.
Pre‑order options include several CD editions, a limited 500‑Frames digipak, and vinyl pressings in black, Coke‑bottle‑green and a black‑white marbled version. The band will debut the new material live at Helsinki Ice Hall on 14 November, followed by two Japanese shows on 18 and 19 November at Club Quattro in Tokyo and Osaka. A European headline tour is slated to begin in February 2027, covering Germany, Poland, Austria, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands.
Blind Channel describes the record as their most mature, honest and ambitious work, exploring pain as a universal human experience that can unite people and reveal hope.
