BLINK art and light festival returns to Cincinnati and Covington

The BLINK art and light festival is returning to the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region, featuring projection mapping, murals, and various installations. The event spans several areas, including Cincinnati’s riverfront, the Central Business District, Over-the-Rhine, and Covington.

New additions for this year include a block party-style kickoff event on Central Parkway and the expansion of the mural program into Covington, creating what organizers call the Madison Walls District. The festival previously drew over 2 million attendees.

Due to the event, several transportation adjustments are in place. The Roebling Bridge will be closed to vehicle traffic but remains open to pedestrians. Drivers entering Covington from Cincinnati are advised to use the Brent Spence Bridge or the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge, while those from Newport should use the 12th Street Bridge. Shuttle services and park-and-ride options from NKU's campus will be available to assist travelers.
