Blizzard adds Demonist class to Diablo Immortal and offers free Demonist trial in Diablo IV

Blizzard Entertainment released update 5.0 for Diablo Immortal, introducing the Demonist as the tenth playable class. The update also opens the new region of Lut Gholein, adds a main quest line titled “The Blood‑Stained Jewel,” and features three new bosses—Yradus the False Seer, Gulakht of the Night Clan, and the Chain‑Maw Demon.

Separately, Blizzard announced Diablo IV’s Season 14, “Season of the Awakening of Death,” which begins on 30 June. The season includes a free‑to‑play trial of the Demonist class from 30 June to 7 July, after which progress can be retained on purchase. New content encompasses quest lines centred on rifts in Pandemonium, mythic‑quality unique items, a personal loot mode for solo competitive play, and a limited‑time Overwatch collaboration offering exclusive ornaments.
