Blizzard announces new Warcraft titles including Forsaken Kingdom

Blizzard Entertainment is expanding its Warcraft universe with upcoming releases, including a new campaign for Warcraft III titled ‘Forsaken Kingdom’ and a reimagined experience for World of Warcraft titled ‘Forever’. ‘Forsaken Kingdom’ is described as a campaign set in the ruins of Lordaeron that explores the transition toward the early days of World of Warcraft. ‘Forever’ aims to offer a new way to experience the original Azeroth rather than a direct repetition of the initial release.

Despite these new projects, discussions surrounding the franchise highlight a long-standing absence of a Warcraft 4 sequel, more than two decades after the release of Warcraft III. Additionally, the legacy of the series remains tied to previous iterations like Warcraft III: Reforged and the long-term impact of the World of Warcraft MMO on its player base.
