Blizzard announces open stress test for World of Warcraft: Forever
Blizzard Entertainment has announced an open stress test for the upcoming title World of Warcraft: Forever. The test is scheduled to begin on October 21, allowing players to join without a beta invitation, subscription, or prior playtime requirements. Players can access the test via the Battle.net desktop application by selecting the specific stress test version.
In anticipation of the full release on November 4 for PC and macOS, Blizzard will also host a character name reservation period from October 27 to November 3 for those who have pre-ordered specific editions.
Additionally, players exploring the current beta have identified a significantly expanded estate in the Duskwood region. While the original Stalvan Mistmantle quest featured a small hut, the version in World of Warcraft: Forever depicts a large manor guarded by an elite Worgen. This discovery has led to community speculation that the location may serve as a new dungeon or a 10-player raid.
